Support

We’re here to help.

Most questions are answered below. For anything else, email support@healthdrey.com and a person will reply, usually within two business days.

Please don’t email your records. We never need to see them, and Health Drey has no way to receive them. If you report a problem, describe what you did and what you saw, and include your device model and iOS version. If you need to share a screenshot, cover any names, dates or results first.

Getting started

What does Health Drey do?

It is a private notebook for your health records. You gather visits, lab results, letters and reports from every provider into one timeline on your iPhone or iPad, search them, read plain-language summaries, and ask questions that are answered only from your own records. Everything stays on the device.

What do I need?

An iPhone or iPad running iOS 27 or iPadOS 27. Summaries and Ask also need a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri. Gathering records automatically needs your provider connected under Health Records in the Apple Health app; you can always add records by hand or import a PDF report.

Is there an account or a subscription?

There is no account to create. The app never contacts a server of ours, so there is nothing to sign in to. Pricing, if any, is shown on the App Store.

Gathering from the Apple Health app

How do I connect my provider?
  1. Open the Apple Health app, tap your picture, then Health Records, and add your provider or hospital. The Health app downloads your clinical records.
  2. Open Health Drey, go to Records and choose Import from Health.
  3. When iOS asks, allow Health Drey to read the record types you want. Access is read-only; the app never writes to Health.

Each imported record is linked to the visit it came from, and importing again later only adds what is new.

It says “No records found in Health.”

Either the Health app has no clinical records yet, or Health Drey was not allowed to read them. Check that your provider appears under Health Records in the Health app and that its download has finished, then open Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Health Drey and turn on the record types. Then tap Try again.

My provider isn’t listed in the Health app.

The Health app connects only to providers that support Apple’s Health Records feature, and the list is maintained by Apple and the providers. If yours is not there, you can still add visits, problems, labs and reports to Health Drey by hand, or import the PDF reports your provider gives you.

Summaries and Ask

Summaries or Ask say they are unavailable.

These features run on Apple Intelligence on your device. They need a supported iPhone or iPad, Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri, a supported language, and the on-device model finished downloading (which iOS does on Wi‑Fi and charge). Everything else in the app works without them.

A summary was declined or looks wrong.

Apple’s on-device model sometimes declines a request or misreads a record. The original record is always one tap away and is the source of truth. Summaries are a convenience, not advice: ask your doctor about anything you read.

Do summaries use the cloud?

No. Health Drey uses only the on-device model. It never sends your records to Private Cloud Compute, to any third-party AI service, or to us.

Privacy and security

How do I lock the app?

Turn on the app lock in the app’s settings. Health Drey then asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode whenever you open it or return to it. Apple handles the check; the app never sees biometric data.

Where are my records stored?

In a database on your device, protected with iOS Data Protection so it is encrypted whenever the device is locked. The app does not sync to iCloud or any other service. See the privacy policy.

How do I delete everything?

Delete the app. The notebook is removed with it, and there is no copy anywhere else. Records in the Apple Health app are not affected.

Devices and data

I got a new iPhone. Where is my notebook?

Because Health Drey keeps no server copy, your notebook moves only the way the rest of your device does: through an iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or a device backup made by Apple. If the new device was set up from a backup or transfer, the notebook comes with it. If it was set up as new, the notebook stayed on the old device.

Can I share a record with my doctor?

Yes, through the iOS share sheet, to any app or person you choose. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

Report a problem or suggest a feature

Email support@healthdrey.com. For a bug, tell us what you expected, what happened instead, the steps to reproduce it, your device model, your iOS version and the app version (shown in the app’s settings). Please leave your records out of it.
